Rockwell
Manufacturing Company and North American Rockwell merged to become Rockwell
International. |

Flexible
Pipe Tool Division of Rockwell International moved their California and
Ohio manufacturing plants to a new plant in Texarkana, Arkansas. |

Sewer
Rodding Equipment Company (SRECO) was incorporated and started to setup
a manufacturing facility in Lima, Ohio and Los Angeles, California. The
key people in the original Flexible operation were the founders of this
new company. |
| 1975 |
SRECO
actively started soliciting orders for rods, tools, and accessories. In
addition their first sectional Power Rodder was produced and sold. |
| 1976 |
SRECO
started manufacturing continuous Power Rodders. Also mechanical powered
Bucket Machines were manufactured. |
| 1977 |
Rockwell
International sold the Flexible Pipe Tool Division to Uniflex in Lynwood,
California. |
| 1978 |
The SRECO
manufacturing plant in Ohio moved to its present facility on Dixie Highway
in Lima, Ohio. |
| 1978 |
Financial
problems caused Uniflex to cease operations June 30,1978. SRECO purchased
the mortgaged assets of the bankrupt Uniflex operation. The name Flexible
returned to the original family who founded it in the 1930's. |
