Well,
another year falls! We are all another year older. We
have learned monumental lessons and continue to optimistically
press our way forward to being the market leader in 1999.
We are adopting a new focus for ourselves; one which identifies
our commitment to quality, our drive to develop emerging
technologies for the good of our industry, our earnest
desire to maintain a competitive advantage, and finally,
our responsibility to promote training within our industry
in order to enhance skills and promote safety. |
We
have adopted a new mission statement:
INNOVATE, EDUCATE, AND DELIVER
We chose these words carefully so they embody those ideals
which we value. They are intended to be a concise directive
that all SRECO people must follow. Whatever we do, whatever
challenge presents itself, our actions are guided by those
three words.

INNOVATE tells us
that we must continue to develop our assets. Whether we
completely redesign a mainline camera, starting with a
blank sheet of paper and thus leapfrog all the competition
with a vastly superior product, or simply press the evolution
of rodder technology to announce a machine which out performs
all existing rodders on the market. In doing so we have
taken a stand. SRECO listens to the marketplace. SRECO
is making a huge investment in proper engineering and
we will leverage this investment to raise the standards
of performance to which our competition will now have
to respond. We will never again let them catch up!

EDUCATE
our people. Educate our customers. We want to be the most
talented, cohesive, well directed and motivated organization
in this industry. From SRECO radiates an intensely bright
light that focuses the eyes of the marketplace on our
last great coup and our next great innovation. By being
the light, we alone drive the marketplace. We own it.
Look for our company to ramp up the Sewer Expert Program
in 1999 and to increase efforts to motivate and train
our employees, representatives, and dealers.

Finally,
all the best intentions are meaningless if you cannot
produce results. DELIVER
reminds us of our very specific marching orders: Get the
machine completed and delivered, get the quote out on
time, remember to return the phone call, be responsible
to any commitment we make. Achieve what is expected. Do
what you say you will do.

Most
folks who go nowhere in their lives simply needed to set
some goals for themselves. 90% of those who set goals
achieve them. Herein are the goals we are embracing for
ourselves. I call on each individual in our extended organization
to these ideals. I have set my personal goals to support
this larger common set of goals. Join me, and let's achieve
great things together.

DAILY DOUBLE |
Beginning
in April our customer service departments in both
Lima and Marina Del Rey will run a Daily Double.
Each business day we will select one of our products
from our tools and accessories or flexicam product
lines. Any order we take for that day will entitle
the buyer to purchase an additional one of the same
product for half our list price.
For example, if the Daily Double item in the Marina
is a Deluxe Blue Line Flexicam system list priced
at $4275.00, any order taken that day for this unit
would pay the list price (less any discount to which
the buyer was entitled). They would then be entitled
to one additional unit at half off the list price,
