MANHOLE COVER LIFTER

This SRECO-FLEXIBLE tool has a sliding extension handle, small tough wheels, and an aluminum body where the different sized and shaped hardened hooks fit. When the proper hook for the job is installed, the cover lifter body rests on the outside edge of the manhole ring and street surface. The design of downward pressure of the handle increases, the weight of the cover is born on wheels. The cover tilts up as the handle is pressed down. By swinging the handle around, the cover is moved away from the hole and can be let down to the street surface. To replace the cover, the reverse procedure is followed. Use the handle for leverage and to guide the cover on the wheels to a proper position over the manhole ring. Then just let it drop in place. The separate, hardened, adjustable hooks come in two diameters and five adjustable ranges to fit almost any need.
