A leader hose is used on the end of the sewer hose that goes into the sewer first. This gives added flexibility to start the nozzle into the pipe more easily. When purchased in different colors than the sewer hose, it gives the operator advance warning as to when the nozzle is getting close to the manhole. In addition , because of the stainless steel braids, it has better wear capability for the more abrasive conditions near the nozzle. It is available in 3/4" and 1" sizes and standard lengths of 10', 12', 15', 20', and 25', Other desired lengths may be available.
