DUCT PLUGS

These are most commonly used when rodding underground cable ducts. The SRECO-FLEXIBLE duct plug is inserted into the end of the duct an underground cable vault and cab expanded by tightening the twisted lugs. Once it is cinched down tightly so that it will not move, either rigid pipe or rubber guild hoses are attached to the plug and braced tightly within the cable vault. Sometimes when only a short section of duct is to be strung, rod guides can be used without the braces. On hard rodding, however, braces are a necessity.
